Electrical Wiring
A 25-hour course over 5 to 6 weeks covering the fundamentals of electrical wiring and household circuits, with hands-on training that every trainee carries out personally.
What you'll learn
- Symbols used in electrical wiring
- Types of electrical power sources
- Turning electrical diagrams into working circuits
- Hands-on wiring of household circuits: A switch and lamp, a fluorescent lamp, a two-way (staircase) switch circuit, and an electricity meter with a breaker panel
- How to choose cables for different applications
- Purely hands-on training: Lighting, sockets, telephone lines and circuit breakers, which every trainee wires by hand
- Wiring fundamentals and systems, cable types, and how cables are insulated and protected
Certification
- Academy certificate (free of charge)
